happy wednesday
the happiest day of the week
the rain that i've been waiting for!
this morning taylor and i enjoyed strawberry waffles with whipped cream
i dont know if it was because it was chilly out and waffles seemed like the perfect match to the weather,
but they were exceptionally good this morning
i chopped up strawberries in tiny pieces and added them to the waffle batter.
the juices from the strawberries seeped out while the waffles were cooking
making it juicy with strawberry sap!
i wish the rain would stay a while...
but i'll be happy with a day of it for now
we're traveling to ireland this coming january
and i think i'll get enough of it then ;)
